Mary Minnie Mitchell
August 20, 1938 - October 9, 2014
Mary Minnie Rothman was born in Newport, Michigan on August 20, 1938. She was the daughter of the late William Andrew and Lillian Veronica (LaFountain) Rothman.
She married the love of her life: James David Mitchell at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on November 7, 1959. From this union the couple would share in the birth of three children. Mary served her family as a loving and supportive homemaker to her husband and children. The family worshipped at St. Patrick Catholic Church and Mary gave freely of herself as a member of the parish Altar Society.
Mary loved being outside and she enjoyed gardening and fishing. Mary more than anything cherished the time that she was able to spend with family; camping, dancing and traveling were favorite family activities. When she had quiet time, Mary enjoyed crocheting, because it would always seem to bring her a sense of calm. Her dog Rags had a very special place in her heart.
