Obituary of Misty Ann Marchese

Misty Ann Marchese was born on April 24, 1979  in Monroe, Michigan.   She was one of five children born from the union of Donald J and Kathleen S (Dusseau) Marchese.   She attended Monroe Public Schools and Monroe High School.

For many years, Misty worked as a waitress for various local restaurants.   She loved to socialize and had a kind spirit.   Of all things in life she was most proud of her son:  Nelson.

Misty Ann Marchese, age 38, of Monroe passed away unexpectedly at Detroit Receiving Hospital on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.

To cherish her memory she leaves her beloved son:  Nelson Donald Meinke III of Brownstown; her parents: Donald and Kathleen Marchese of Monroe; three brothers: Donald Marchese Jr. of Detroit, Jeramiah (Dawn) Marchese of Taylor, and Toby Marchese of Monroe; one sister: Michelle Marchese of Detroit; her son’s father: Nelson D. Meinke II; a longtime friend whom she thought of as a sister: Melissa Marcum; and many other nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Friends may gather from 10:00am until 12:00pm on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Merkle Funeral Service; 2442 North Monroe Street in Monroe (734) 384-5185. A Memorial Service will take place at 12:00pm (Noon) also at Merkle’s with Pastor Tim Iocoangeli, Associate Pastor of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church officiating.
