Ann Marie Gardner was born in East Millinocket, Maine on September 22, 1935. She was the only child from the union of the late James Gardner and the late Ethel (Dempsey) Gardner. Ann married the love of her life Carroll Fisher in 1953. Ann took great pride in her 23 years as a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, and proud grandmother of one; "whom she had every intention of spoiling". Ann was happily married for more than 54 years. When she wasn't volunteering Ann kept to herself and enjoyed her home and the company of her family. One of her favorite companions was her kitty which she loved like no other, and it was very important to her. Ann Marie Fisher age 76 of Monroe passed away unexpectedly in her home at 10:26am on Sunday, October 30, 2011. In addition to her parents, her passing was preceded by her husband: Carroll and a son: Joseph Fisher. She leaves to cherish her memory a son: William (Robin) Fisher of LaSalle; a grandson: William Fisher II of LaSalle; a brother: James Gardner of Capsham, ME; and special nieces and nephews: Carleton, Anne, Denise and Darren Tupper all of Radcliff, Kentucky. No public services are planned. Cremation has taken place through Southern Michigan Services in Livonia, Michigan.
