Obituary of Michael Todd Cardwell

Michael Todd Cardwell was born on November 11, 1967 in Kincheloe, Michigan. He was one of three children born from the union of the Kenneth E. Cardwell and Sandra (Middlemas) Cardwell. Todd was attended Monroe High School graduating with the Class of 1985.

Todd was a hard worker, owning a tree trimming business and employed at Meijer Distribution Warehouse in Monroe for over eight years.

Todd was set in his ways and mostly kept to himself.  He appreciated the outdoors while fishing and as a dirt bike enthusiast, always anticipating his next ride.  Todd was an avid football and hockey fan and enjoyed his bowling league at Nortel Lanes.

Michael Todd Cardwell, age 49 of Monroe passed away at 2:12am on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Medilodge of Monroe. His passing was preceded by his mother Sandra (Middlemas) Cardwell.

To cherish his memory, Todd leaves his son: Michael Todd Cardwell II of Monroe; his father: Kenneth E Cardwell of Monroe; his paternal grandmother: Mary Louise Buckingham; two sisters: Trisha (Robert) Burgess of Monroe and Traci Crawford of Monroe.

A Going Home Celebration will take place at 11:00 am Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Oaks of Righteousness; 1012 East Second Street for a Memorial Service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe (734)384-5185.
