Uncle Fred was a pillar in his family and also in the Padot family. He stood by my mothers side when my father passed, which made the transition that much easier. He was that uncle that was strict at times but you could get away with things that Aunt Helen would start yelling at you about. I enjoyed my times that we would talked about Korea, when I served in Korea things changed so much from the time he was there. When we were young the three families would get together for the main holidays and Christmas was at the Aunt Helens and Uncle Fred's which was a great time when my dad and Uncle Fred would gang up on Aunt Helen and get her all flustered or they would gang up on Aunt Marlene and that is when the words would fly (from Aunt Marlene). I am going to miss you and no longer in pain and your sprit can move freely for eternity. Love from your favorite niece Cindy
