Obituary of Norene Merle Salsbury

Norene Merle Lee was born on April 10, 1930 in Toledo Ohio. She was the daughter of Gordon Clifford Lee and Anabelle (Kubera) Lee. Norene married the love of her life Jack Salsbury, and from their union came the birth of children. For nine years, Norene, was the Onsite Manager for Kimberly Estates Manufacturing Housing Community in Newport, Michigan retiring in 1998. Norene Merle Salsbury, age 86, of Clinton Township formerly of Newport passed away peacefully on Monday, March 27, 2017 at home under the care of McLaren Hospice. Her beloved family was at her side. Her passing was preceded by both of her parents, her beloved husband and two brothers. To cherish her memory, Norene leaves three daughters: Christine (George) Gregory of Escondido, California, Jacqueline (David) Collins of Mount Clemens, Michigan, and Karen (Bob) Dickerson of Pooler, Georgia; grandchildren; one great grandson; a brother; a sisters and their families. Friends may gather from 12:00pm until a Celebration of Her Life at 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Chas. Verheyden Funeral Home; 43300 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, Michigan 48038. Chaplain Priscilla Craig of McLaren Hospice will officiate. Procession will follow to Cadillac Memorial Gardens East for burial.
