Obituary of Charles Allen Kitts
Charles Allen Kitts was born on Thursday, January 24, 1957 in Calumet, Michigan. He was one of six children born from the union of the late Charles and the late Barbara (Mortti) Kitts. Charles attended Jefferson High School with the class of 1975.
Charles was a natural family man, he loved being a father and grandfather. He supported his family as the head chef at Joe’s French Italian Inn for over thirty-two years, taking retirement in 2014. When he wasn’t cooking or fishing, he was spending quality time with his family. In his younger years, Chuck enjoyed taking his kids up north and various other places to go camping regularly, as he enjoyed the outdoors.
Chuck wasn’t known for having a filter when it came to speaking, His quick wit usually left those around him quite entertained, but he would always tell someone like it was. Chuck was a good man and a genuine true blue University of Michigan fan.
