Obituary of Joshua Miracle

Joshua Alyn Miracle was born in Monroe, Michigan on October 11, 1993. He was the son of the late Jody Miracle and Jelanie Alley. Joshua had a warm and contagious smile. He was currently attending the Downriver High School where he was strong in academics. Joshua was making the most of his Junior year by being on the school's honor roll. He enjoyed listening to music especially rap and rock and roll. Joshua also enjoyed singing along to the lyrics. He had a big heart and put the needs of others first. Joshua appreciated a good game of football and was an avid NFL fan. In his free time he also liked to play video games, and enjoyed the outdoors and the relaxation of fishing. Joshua enjoyed the company of his girlfriend: Iona Turner and together they were expecting their first child a daughter: Audrey in just a few months. Joshua Alyn Miracle age 16, of Carleton, Michigan passed away on Saturday morning, November 7, 2009. In addition to his father in 1998 his passing was preceded by his maternal and paternal great grandparents. Joshua was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother: Jelanie Alley and her significant other: Ryan Mack of Rockwood, Michigan; his maternal grandparents: John and June Alley of Carleton; paternal grandfather: John Miracle of Monroe; a brother: Jace Alley of Carleton; a sister: Janell Hardwick of Rockwood; an aunt and uncle Lori and Marc Miracle whom helped to raise him of South Rockwood; an aunt and uncle Jamey and Dawn Alley of Monroe; a beloved niece: Joselyn Zieleck; several cousins including his close friend: Lexi; his girlfriend: Iona Turner; and a host of friends. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 7:00pm, Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of His Life will take place at 7:00pm with the Rev. Rick Massingill pastor of the North Monroe Street Church of God officiating. Private burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in South Rockwood, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the Miracle family.
