Obituary of Robert McBride

Robert Alexander "Alex" McBride was stillborn into this world at 6:35pm Tuesday afternoon October 20, 2009 at the Motts Children Hospital in Ann Arbor. Although his earthly life was short his eternal reward is great, and will be spent in the arms of his Savior. He was the son of Charles "Chuck" McBride and Dawn Michelle "Shelly" (Holbrook) McBride of Monroe. Alex was to have a loving big sister: Ava Nicole McBride who looked forward to the opportunity to play with him. His arrival was anticipated by his loving family: paternal grandmother: Bonnie McBride of Monroe; maternal grandparents: Richard and Norma Holbrook of Newark, Ohio; paternal aunt: Julie (Todd) Prill of Monroe; maternal uncles: Richard (Melissa) Holbrook of Georgia and Larry (Lucy) Holbrook of Newark, Ohio; maternal aunt: Jackie (Rob) Duston of Newark, Ohio; and the McBride's two dogs: Cayman and Rusty. His passing was preceded by his great grandparents; a paternal grandfather: Robert "Mickey" McBride in 2003; and a paternal uncle: Kevin McBride in 1987. Friends are invited to gather at the Babyland section of Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 13200 South Dixie Highway in LaSalle for a Celebration of His Life at 10:00am, Friday, October 23, 2009.
