Obituary of Karen Robison
Please share a memory of Karen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Karen Ann Bressler was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 16, 1950. She was the second born but the eldest daughter of the late Harold Bressler and the late Margaret (Whitmer) Bressler. Karen was the consummate "big sister" and she helped to raise her seven younger siblings. She attended Chadsey High School before marrying the love of her life, Freddie Robison on July 10, 1970 in Detroit.
Karen became a homemaker and her and Freddie would share the joy of raising four children. She relished in her role as a stereotypical mother. She took her responsibilities very seriously and she cherished the time she spent with her family.
Karen loved cooking for everyone and her family was particularly fond of her famous fried chicken (her mother's special recipe). Friends and neighbors also raved about her stuffed cabbage and homemade apple crisp. Whether it was cooking or baking homemade pies and cakes Karen loved the company of others and later in life she was blessed with her three beautiful grandchildren.
Karen was generous almost to a fault always willing to give others the shirt off her back. In her free time she liked to crochet, loved to travel, and she religiously played the lotto.
