Kelly Rutherford

Obituary of Kelly Sue Rutherford

Theodore Scott Rutherford was born on June 20, 1968 in Monroe the son of Carr Bryan and Shirley Ann (Earp) Rutherford. He attended Jefferson High School graduating in 1986, and served his country in the United States Navy. Ted married the love of his life, Kelly Sue Prybil who was born on December 31, 1975 in Monroe to Kathleen Pribyl, and she also attended Jefferson High School. The couple was blessed with the birth of five children. Together they shared the importance of family and taught their children values, often spending time together and visited local parks and the beach whenever they had the chance. Ted helped to support his family in the construction industry before having to take a medical retirement. He had a great sense of humor and was very sociable, a friend to everyone. Ted was quite well-known for his stubbornness, and his love of fishing which he had hoped to make a career someday. He was complemented well by the love and dedication of Kelly. She was outgoing, always well-organized; keeping a neat home, and loved to dance. She worked for more than fourteen years at the Aberdeen Skilled Nursing Home in Trenton where she prided herself on caring for patients as if they were her own family. The two enjoyed music, Ted was a Metallica fan although Kelly preferred Guns and Roses. They loved each other dearly, and had the type of bond to make it through anything. Kelly Sue Rutherford, age 39 of Tuscan, Arizona formerly of Monroe passed away on October 31, 2015. Theodore “Ted” Rutherford, age 48, of Monroe passed away on February 2, 2017.
