Obituary of Eunice Priscilla Goins
Eunice Priscilla Whitaker was born on April 14, 1926 in Tazewell, Tennessee. She was born from the union of the late Auda Whitaker and the late Minnie Lee (Estes) Whitaker. She graduated from Monroe High School.
Eunice married the love of her life, Homer Goins on June 28, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio. She cared for the needs of her husband and looked after their home with precision. Eunice was neat and organized, a stickler for the details. She had a warm and inviting personality and was always fun to be around. She enjoyed the company of her nieces and nephews and they looked forward to spending time with her.
Eunice enjoyed traveling and had spent time visiting Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean Islands in addition to many places throughout the United States. She enjoyed the open water and boating. Eunice loved to visit antique shops and garage sales trying to find special treasures.
Eunice loved the beauty of nature and often could be found watching the birds and squirrels from her window. Even with all the joys in her life one of her favorite pastimes was curling up and reading a good book.
