Deborah Ann (Karman) Wojcik February 12, 1952 - March 28, 2012 Deborah Ann Karman was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 12, 1952. She was the daughter of Steve Karman and the late Beverly (Grant) Karman. Deborah graduated from Carlson High School. She married the love of her life Joseph Wojcik on November 21, 1970 in Rockwood. Together they would share forty-one years of marriage and the birth of two daughters. After graduation, Deborah would obtain her certification in hairstyling. She later would spend twenty-five years working retail in the Monroe area before her retirement. Deborah liked the outdoors and she loved to garden and enjoyed walking the pier with her husband, Joseph. She had made the most of life since retirement and she cherished the time that was spent with her family. She was an avid NASCAR and Detroit Lion fan. Deborah Ann Wojcik age 60 passed away at 12:50am, Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at her home. Her passing was preceded by her mother: Beverly. To cherish her memory she leaves a beloved husband: Joseph; her father: Steve Karman; two daughters: Stephanie (Hezekiah) Pipkins and Stacy Fraunhoffer; one brother: Steve (Debbie) Karman; three sisters: Marcie (Earl) Erwin, Tricia (Fernando)Pinendo, Teena (Brad) Robbins; one brother-in-law: Robert (Natalie) Wojcik; two sisters-in-law: Sharon (Terry) Taylor, and Constance Poff; three grandchildren: Brianna, Marissa , and Abagail; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 8:00pm, Friday, March 30, 2012 at Merkle Funeral Service, 9156 Summit Street in Erie (734)848-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at 11:00am, Saturday, March 31, 2012 also at Merkle's. Reverend Bobby Smith, Pastor of Grape Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Cremation will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Crematory in LaSalle. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the Wojcik Family.
