Obituary of Heidi Kristine Angel
Heidi Kristine Santure was born on July 9, 1980 in Monroe, Michigan. She was the daughter of Randall L. Blessing and Beverlee J. (Goins) Blessing. She attended Jefferson Schools graduating with the Class of 1999, and then continued her education obtaining her licenses as an LPN through Professional Skills Institute.
She would marry the love of her life, Tommy Angel, on June 4, 2011 at the Stewart Road Church of God. Heidi was passionate about her relationships with others. She was a devoted wife, a beloved mother, and a great friend. A natural caregiver she raised her children with compassion and kindness, instilling in them the highest of standards helping them to excel. She kept them motivated by being a true inspiration.
Staying busy was a staple of Heidi’s personality. She truly loved the outdoors and using her creative sense of style. Heidi cherished the time spent with friends and family. She excelled in all she attempted and her warm smile and pleasant demeanor made her a pleasure to be around.
Heidi Kristine Angel, age 36, of Newport, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 5, 2016 at her home. Her passing was preceded by her paternal grandparents; an uncle: Ronald Goins; and an aunt: Sonja Goins.
To cherish her memory, Heidi leaves her beloved husband: Tommy Angel of Newport; two sons of whom she adored: Michael Allen Woods and Christopher Randall Woods; a step daughter: Savanna Washell; her mother and father: Beverlee and Randall Blessing; two brothers: Jody Santure and Shane Blessing; and a nephew: Evan Blessing.
Friends may gather on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 11:00am also at Merkle’s with Father Rade Obsencia of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church officiating. Procession will follow to Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle for burial.
