Obituary of Alice Louise McDaniel

Alice “Lou” Louise Hubbard was born on January 25, 1938 in Corbin, Kentucky. She was one of six children born from the union of the late Green Hubbard Sr. and the late Beaulah (Gutherie) Hubbard. After moving to Monroe, Michigan, Lou took up work at a young age to support her younger brother and mother. She would later become the hard working manager of Vescio’s market and later at the Food Towne deli-bakery. Baking was a passion, and anyone could tell you that her southern style cooking was unmatched. Lou married her soulmate James Mcdaniel Sr. on May, 5, 1956. In Angola, Indiana, they began their life together by accepting vows of the Lord and promises to each other. Lou would go on to have four beautiful children, one who preceded her. Through their lives she cared for them, their children, and their children’s children as her own. She loved her family the best any woman and mother could. Her love for her family was her everything. Alice “Lou” Louise McDaniel passed away at the age of 78, at 2:24Pm on Thursday, November 17, 2016. She left this world surrounded by family and loved ones in her home.
