Obituary of Lloyd Anthony Bastuba
Lloyd Anthony Bastuba was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 15, 1956 to Ann Marie and Leonard Bastuba. Lloyd was a graduate of Cody High School and a skilled CNC Machinist for both H.R. Kreuger and Axis Engineering for more than 35 years. During his high school years, Lloyd met Susan Giraud, whom he later married on August 20, 1976, and who survives him. Together, Lloyd and Susan had two children, both of whom survive him: Renee (Bob) Moore of Carleton, MI, and Steven (Noel) Bastuba of Murrieta, CA. Lloyd was an extremely hard-working man with a quiet disposition and a quick sense of humor. He was a loving, devoted father and grandfather, whose love for his family was evident in all he did. Lloyd enjoyed golfing and watching baseball and hockey. He was a loyal fan of all Detroit teams, but his favorite was the Detroit Tigers. In addition to his wife and children, Lloyd is survived by five cherished grandchildren, whom he loved spending time with: Bob Moore, Jr (16), Brayden Moore (12), Brett Moore (10), Juliana Bastuba (8), and Samuel Bastuba (4). He is also survived by his sisters, Sue (Ken) Kappler and Jessica (Tim) Stuart.
