Obituary of Anita Brodie

Anita Carroll was born November 28, 1950 in Middlesboro, Kentucky. She was one of two children born from the late Charles E. Carroll and the late Mossie (Russell) Carroll. Anita attended Monroe High School and married Gary Brodie on July 29, 1971 at Monroe Gospel Mission Church in Monroe. Anita was a hard worker and enjoyed her employment as a Cashier at Walmart for twenty-three years. She received her spiritual nourishment as a member of Monroe Full Gospel Church where she volunteered as part of the cleaning ministry. Anita had a great sense of humor and heart of gold. She was considered trustworthy, loved by others and would help anyone in need. Family was most important to Anita and savored time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandson. As an awesome cook, Anita looked forward to hosting family gatherings and holidays. In her quiet time, she could be found watching her favorite soap operas or spending time with her Lord reading her Bible.
