Betty Rae Turner was born on March 10, 1933 in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Betty was the daughter of the late William Henry Turner and the late Lizzie (Tennyson) Turner. She married the love of her life Ottie B. Treece on December 24, 1955 in Tazewell, Tennessee. Betty was a homemaker, and in fact a homebody. She enjoyed listening to Country and Gospel music. She also liked to watch game shows on television. Most of all Betty loved to spend time with her family and she loved to cook for them. Betty always looked forward to big Sunday dinners and getting the family together. She also enjoyed word search puzzles. Betty had a special place in her heart for babies and especially was fond of her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She had attended Monroe Missionary Baptist Church and prior to moving to Monroe she was a member of Old Yellow Creek Baptist Church in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Betty Rae Treece, age 78, of Monroe, Michigan died at 10:05am, Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Fountain View of Monroe. (Cynthia) Treece of Toledo, Ohio; two sisters: Helen Treece and Mildred (Richard) Grassley of both of Monroe; two brothers: J.C.
