Obituary of Sydney Rose Marie Beard

Sydney Rose Marie Beard was born at Promedica Hospital in Monroe, Michigan on April 11, 2016. She was the third child born to Maxiel Beard and Jackie Allen. Her parents adored their beautiful, baby girl. Sydney was already a “Daddy’s Girl”. She loved to run her fingers through his beard. The moment, Maxiell walked into a room, Sydney’s eyes lit up and her whole little body tensed waiting to be picked up. She also enjoyed time with her mother, who knew her favorite tickle spots under her arms and on her belly. They lovingly referred to her as “Sissy” and “Mommy”. Sydney, age 4 months, of Monroe passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital. Her passing was preceded by paternal grandparents: Leonard and Genoice Beard and maternal grandfather: Jack Allen. To cherish her memory she leaves her parents Jackie Allen and Maxiell Beard both of Monroe; maternal grandmother: “Mamaw” Colleen Fairchild and “Papaw” Charles; two brothers: Tayshawn Beard and Lucas Allen; one step sister: Deseraie Brown; and one step brother: Bryant Brown; two maternal aunts: Stacie (Joshua) Davis and Lisha Allen (Calvin Johnson); three paternal aunts: Tracey Martin, Debbie Williams, and Debra Williams; two paternal uncles: Kelvin Williams and Keith Kingsby; and numerous cousins. Friends may gather from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Oaks of Righteousness Victory Village, 924 East Second Street in Monroe (formerly St. Joseph Parish). A Homegoing Service will take place at 1:00pm with Reverend Heather Boone pastor of the church officiating. A luncheon will follow for all of those in attendance. Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185 has been entrusted with her arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family to assist with funeral arrangements.
