Obituary of Timothy Arnold Patrick Jordan
Timothy Arnold Patrick Jordan was born on February 17, 1948 in Oneida, New York. He was one of five children born from the union of the late William Jordan and Mary (Moore) Jordan. Timothy attended Oneida Schools in New York.
He married the love of his life, the late Sandra Lee Winnie on July 2, 1965, in Syracuse, New York. From this union would come the birth of five children. For thirty years, Timothy supported his family employed as a Supervisor by Time Warner-Florida.
Timothy was kind and loving and he put the needs of his family first. A great husband, father, and grandfather; he enjoyed bowling and spending quiet time with his bride. Timothy loved to entertain and socialize; his home was always open to those in need.
Timothy loved to play poker, sing karaoke, and grill out. For many years he served the American Legion in Florida by running their bingo hall. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and his NASCAR and football. For the past ten years Timothy had served as a maintenance person for Countryside Apartments.
Timothy, age 68, passed away at 10:33am on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at home with his loving family by his side. In addition to his parents his passing was preceded by his wife: Sandra (2001); son: Michael David Jordan; and a grandchild: Arthur Lee Fulghum.
To cherish his memory Timothy leaves four children: Cory (Tina) Jordan of Monroe, Brenda (JC) Cline of Indiana, Kelley (Jeff) Fulghum of Monroe, Penny (Joel) Martinez of St. John, Michigan; three brothers: John Jordan of Florida, Reginald (Diane) Jordan and Patrick Jordan of New York, Patrick Jordan; three sisters: Mary (John) Caldwell of New York, Delores (Tim) Thompson of Florida, and Stella (Tom) Relyea New York; thirteen grandchildren: Corey “CJ”, Kristen, Marlin, Amber, Maya, Rebecca, Jordan, Christopher, Lisa, April, Coty, Kayla, and Dallas; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may gather from 2:00pm-4:00pm on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. Chaplain William Fink will provide a blessing. Immediately following services all are invited to gather at 1517 Stewart Road in Monroe, food and drinks to celebrate His new life.
