Obituary of Lorna Anne Lewen
Lorna Anne Panchot was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on April 4, 1957. She was the daughter of the late Melvin and the late Mary Panchot. Lorna graduated from Cherry Hill High School and later married the love of her life, Craig Lewen on May 10, 1980 at Bethany Baptist Church. From this union would come the birth of three children.
Lorna helped support her family employed at the Alice Lorraine Care Center as a Direct Care worker, retiring in 2000. She had a special place in her heart for her co-workers at ALCC and loved them dearly. Lorna never met a stranger and was known as the social butterfly of her neighborhood. You could always get a great cup of coffee and catch up on the latest gossip around her kitchen table. She was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Lorna loved to spend time with her grandchildren, and they were her life. She enjoyed long road trips and especially in the fall to see the autumn colors.
