Obituary of Carol Barron

Please share a memory of Carol to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Carol Yvonne Johnson was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 15, 1947. She was the daughter of Leona (Rice) Johnson and the late Ivan Johnson. Carol was a 1965 graduate of Bedford High School. Carol married Mark Barron on November 12, 1982 in Toledo. She took her role as homemaker very seriously, always placing her family first. Carol was very active and supportive in her children's education, always attending their sporting and theatrical events. The children always started the day right with a warm breakfast, a kiss and a hug. She enjoyed scrapbooking and detailed her family's lives with great care and attention. Carol found it important to keep up on current events and particularly enjoyed following politics. She was very organized, loved to travel, and enjoyed caring for and decorating her home. With the ability to grasp new concepts, Carol loved to educate herself by reading and doing research on a multitude of subjects. Genealogy was a favorite pastime and she often researched her family's history and took the opportunity to visit and host Swedish relatives. Carol Y. Barron, age 65 of Lambertville, passed away at 9:55am, Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Toledo Hospital. Her passing was preceded by her father. To cherish her memory, she leaves her beloved husband Mark of Lambertville; four children: Scott (Greta) Jasmund of North Carolina, Kristine (Mike) Demski of Erie, Kevin Barron and Patrick Barron both of Lambertville; her mother: Leona Johnson of Temperance; three sisters: Janet (Doug) Kish of Temperance, Joanne (Chris) Wunderlin of Toledo, and Terri (John) Wenzel of Colorado; three grandchildren: Brendan, Stefanie, and Hannah; and her mother-in-law: Betty Barron of Romulus.
