Obituary of Heather Coots

Heather Nicole Coots April 29, 1996—September 24, 2011 Heather Nicole Coots was born in Monroe, Michigan on April 29, 1996. She was the daughter of Kristie Fletcher and Jason Coots. Although Heather could be quiet, she had a big heart and loved cats. She was a loving, caring, nurturing young lady who was often a savior to her family, remaining strong when others needed it. She set her sights on a career in nursing so she would be able to help others. Heather loved to draw and had real artistic talent, which she also used to make jewelry. Heather was also a big time wrestling fan and Monday night's WWE was a family affair. Heather Nicole Coots, age 15, of Flat Rock passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011 in the Emergency Department of Mercy Memorial Hospital. To cherish her memory she leaves her parents: Kristie Fletcher, Jason Coots, and her "other mother", Stacie Slupski; her grandparents: Pamela S. Fletcher, Brian D. Campbell, James R. Fletcher, Sr., Diana Pfaff, David Coots, and Sandy Hardy; two half-brothers, Matthew and Hayden Coots; a half-sister, Caliegh Coots; a step-sister, Savannah Bird; a step-brother, Isaiah Bird; and other siblings, Suzann, Alex, Brittney, and Mariah White. Friends may gather from 2:30pm until 7:00pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at 7:00pm.
