Jeanette Pauline Otto was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 19, 1950. She was one of five children born from the union of the late Karl W. Otto and the late Edith G. (Palmer) Otto. She married Alexander Potas and from this union came the birth of a daughter. Following Alexander's passing; Jeanette married Paul Francis on August 14, 1971, and from this union came the birth of three more children. Family was always important to Jeanette and she was a wonderful homemaker to her husband and four children, and very close to her four siblings. She was thoughtful, kind, and loving. Her family also appreciated her great casseroles. She loved to read and she had a green thumb of sorts with her flowers and plants. She was a fanatic about her Precious Memories collection. Jeanette obtained her Associates degree, and for several years she was employed by the Taylor Public Schools as a Teacher's Assistant. Jeanette Pauline Francis age 61 of Monroe passed away at 6:39pm, Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Mercy Memorial Hospital.
