Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Patricia Jean Greig was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 17, 1952. She was the daughter of the late William and Mary Ellen (Spring) Greig. She was a 1971 graduate of Cody High School. For many years, Pat was a homemaker, and she cherished the opportunity to raise her four children. For the past fourteen years she was employed by SET Enterprises in New Boston. She performed many tasks including working in shipping and receiving, and interacting with customers and performing sales. Pat enjoyed arts and crafts and was employed by Crafts 2000 for the past few years. She often brought home bags of treasure to fuel her "habit". Pat always placed her family as the number one priority. She especially loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Pat was an extremely generous and giving individual, and her children fondly recall her constant concern for their well-being. She enjoyed reading and her favorite perch was on her outdoor balcony where she enjoyed mystery and romance novels. Pat would also count collecting candles and watching television and movies as her other favorite pastimes. Patricia Jean Ouellette age 59 of Monroe passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 18, 2011 in the Emergency Room of Mercy Memorial Hospital. In addition to her parents her passing was preceded by an infant sister: Mary Carol Greig and a best friend: Micki Stoj. She leaves to cherish her memory four beloved children: Carrie (Joe) Powell of Monroe, Heather (Chris) Dillon of Clarkston, April Brown of Monroe, and Nick Brown of Clarkston; two sisters: Carol Greig of Belleville and Lynne Smith of Mason; one brother: David Greig of Cadillac; five very special grandchildren: Dakota and Dylan Powell, and Christopher, Alexandria, and Tristen Dillon.
