Obituary of John Samuels

John Ricardo Samuels was born in Southfield, Michigan on September 12, 1981. He was one of four children, the son born from the union of Ricardo Samuels Sr. and Jessie Mae (Bidwell) Samuels. John had a fascination with motors and racing and was an exceptional mechanic. John was a family man who enjoyed being in the company of his friends and family. He especially enjoyed being a father to Henry. John was a Christian man who felt the love of his family unconditionally. John Ricardo Samuels age 29 of Monroe passed away at 2:00 am, Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in his home. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents: Ricardo and Jessie; two sisters: Jacqueline (Nathaniel) Brown and Tiffany Samuels and a brother: Ricardo (Pam) Samuels Jr.; a son Henry Samuels; the love of his life Natalie Barnett who is expecting their baby girl Kadlynn; his grandmother Lorraine Nelson; many aunts, uncles and cousins; nieces and nephews: Morgan, Lance and Avalon Brown, Hunter, Tanner and Fisher Samuels and Taylor, Leah, Bailey, and Jacy Samuels. Friends may gather from 1:00pm until 8:00pm, Monday, June 27 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of His Life will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, June 28 with Pastor Brown from Dundee Baptist Church officiating. John's cousin Tom will be giving an eulogy.
