Back in 1973 found myself working with Tom at the Bonded gas station. I was about 6 or 7 years younger than what Tom was and Tom took me under his wing and was like a big brother. Years later are paths crossed again when I was working at the Whiting Plt in Erie and he was out humpin mail. Sadly I did not know that he had passed. Tom wish I had said this before but I want you to know that I am greatfull that you looked out for me. Would have never knew about Jethro Tull or Lou Reed. Thanks for bein there.

how sorry we are. I wish we had known sooner because we would have come. prayers are with Tom. Connie and the kids. My mom remembers Tom and Bogie, because they drove her home, and Tom took her to the bus station in Toledo. She called Bogie, "The Professor", and as she is not a sociable person, really enjoyed the times she spent with both of them in the car. Remember all the summers when all you guys came up and put your camper in the front? what fun we had. the kids all hung out together and we loved having you here. Tom was a good guy, a great dad and a loving husband. We will miss you!

Tom aka "Mail Dude" will be greatly missed at the Village Pizza in Temperance. We will remember his Keno numbers of 16-50 forever. When it was time for him to leave, he would always say that he had to go "mash the taters". He was a fellow rider and would share his stories with us as we would with him. Tom had a big heart and would help anyone that needed it. We used to enjoy his stories about Elmer, the feral cat that he took care of. He made sure that Elmer had shelter and was fed. If Elmer was gone for a few days, he would get worried. We gave him our left over cat food to feed his little buddy. He is in a better place now. Ride free our friend. May the memories that you all shared with him fill your hearts and ease your loss.
