Sharlene Leona Miller
October 24, 1942 - June 8, 2011
Sharlene Leona Driggett was born in Monroe, Michigan on October 24, 1942. She was one of six children born from the union of the late Harry Driggett and the late Irma (Miller) Driggett. Sharlene attended Airport High School and graduated with the Class of 1960.
She married LaVern Kuhlman on October 17, 1964. From this union came the birth of two daughters Sheryl and Lisa. Later on October 23, 1972 she married Duane Miller. LaVern passed away on April 4, 1980.
Sharlene was a homemaker, and she had a heart of gold. Her children considered her an awesome mother and stated that she was perfect in every way. Sharlene was one for the details. Her thoroughness could be considered borderline obsessive, but her attention to the details brought her joy, and it usually involved putting others first. Even when she was ill she was always concerned about her family and even her caretakers.
Sharlene enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, reading; especially historical romances, and had been active with the Girl Scouts in Carleton for many years. She had a love for cats and butterflies.
