Obituary of Kristina Zurcher

Kristina "Tina" Zurcher August 10, 1961 - January 24, 2008 Tina Zurcher, age 46, passed from this life Thursday, January 24, 2008, unexpectedly at her Toledo home. Friends may gather from 3:00pm until a Celebration of Life service at 7:00pm, Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Merkle Funeral Home, 2442 North Monroe Street, Frenchtown Township. The Rev. Kenny Spain will officiate. Cremation will follow through Southern Michigan Services, Livonia. Tina was born on August 10, 1961 in Monroe, Michigan the daughter of James and Opal (Black) Sams. Tina was a 1979 in graduate from Dundee High School. Tina had worked for many years as the manager of the Monroe, Meijer Store. She had also worked for several years in Downtown Monroe at the Coney Island on Front Street. Tina leaves to cherish her memory her son: Joseph and Amy Goff of Oscoda, Michigan; her mother: Opal Sams of Oscoda; sisters: Linda Sams and Kristyn Crawford of Toledo; Lisa and Bill Spears of Lake Orion, Michigan; and Donna and Kenny Worley of Oscoda; brothers: James and Lori Bauman of Gunthrie, Oklahoma; and Russell and Gina Bauman of Oscoda; three grandchildren: Robert, Dustin, and William Goff as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Sams in 1998. For those desiring memorial contributions can be made to the family.
