Debra Kay (Sharp) Scznsny
November 20, 1957 - June 9, 2010
Debra Kay Sharp was born in Torrance, California on November 20, 1957. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth Sharp and the late Donna Mae (Goins) Sharp.
Debra had worked as a housekeeper for several hospitals before taking a medical retirement. She was a member of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars post and also of the Detroit Beach Boat Club.
Debra was a generous person, and it was often said that she would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She, however, preferred to stay home and take care of others. She loved her title of mother and cherished being a grandmother. Her favorite color rose was yellow. This went along with the fact that she was a friend to all. Debra also liked to collect dolphins and she filled her free time with arts and crafts including crocheting. One of, Debra's favorite pastimes was watching a good movie. Her favorites were "Titanic" and "The Note Book".
Debra lived most of her life in Monroe. Two weeks ago she had moved back home from Colorado Springs to be near family.
Debra Kay Scznsny age 52 of Monroe passed away unexpectedly at 8:45pm, Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Mercy Memorial Hospital. In addition to her parents her passing was preceded by her grandparents and a brother: Dean.
She leaves to cherish her memory; two daughters: Jennifer Lee Sharp and Trisha Kay Sharp; a son: Ronnie Wayne Sharp; two sisters: Cathleen (Dirk Sisung) Sharp and Cheryl (Larry) Willis; four brothers: Kenneth (Lori) Sharp, Brian K. (Lydia) Sharp, Kevin Sharp, and Wade (Nilda) Sharp; seven grandchildren; and a former husband and friend: Ronald Salkey.
