Please share a memory of Norman to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Norman Lee Myers Jr. April 6, 1967 - May 20, 2010 Norman Lee Myers Jr. was born in Monroe, Michigan on April 6, 1967. He was one of six children born from the union of the late Norman Lee Myers and the late Mary (Rousselo) Myers. He was baptized at St. Mary Parish, and attended Monroe Public Schools before graduating from Monroe High School in 1986. Norman was a wonderful person. He always had a smile, and it was said that he had a beautiful heart and an uncanny ability to touch others. Norman was more than willing to lend a helping hand. He was a favorite uncle, and well-loved by nieces and nephews. Norman was also a caretaker living with and watching over his grandmother: Lucy E. Rousselo prior to her death in 1999. Norman would often be seen driving his moped all over town. He drove it more than his car because the moped was better on gasoline. He had worked in the automotive industry as a laborer for more than twenty years. He had worked for Delta and Lear. Norman enjoyed weight lifting, fishing on the river, hunting, video games, watching professional football, and NASCAR. He appreciated the companionship of his dogs. He was a member of UAW Local 155. Norman Lee Myers Jr, age 43 of Newport passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at his home. In addition to his father in 1998 and his mother on 1977 and grandmother: Lucy his passing was preceded by his grandparents: Leo Rousselo, Otto Myers, and Florence Myers. He leaves to cherish his memory a sister: Lynn Maniaci-Ritchie (Leonard Ritchie) of Monroe; four brothers: Lonnie Myers of Monroe, James L. Myers of Newport, Michael (Tammie) Myers of Erie, and Gary Myers of Monroe; nine nieces and nephews: Jacob and Sarah Maniaci, Jimmy and Joey Myers, Amber Myers-Weston, Devin and Mikayla Myers, and Lynn and Courtney Myers; and two great nephews: Josh Myers and Seth Weston.
