Obituary of Daniel Palmer
Please share a memory of Daniel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Daniel Duane Palmer was born in Monroe, Michigan on December 6, 1972. He was one of nine children from the union of the late Theadorous Duane Palmer Sr. and Ruby Carolyn (Reeves) Palmer. Daniel attended Monroe Schools graduating with the Class of 1990.
Daniel married the former Christie Emery on April 26, 2008 in Monroe. From this union would come the birth of three children. He was a loving husband and father. For many years Daniel worked to support his family as a cook for local restaurants.
Daniel was quiet and mostly kept to himself. But for those in his inner circle he was quite the jokester. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. He enjoyed playing poker and listening to music of all sorts, especially country. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions Football.
Family was something that Daniel treasured most. He relished the opportunities he had to wrestle with his boys, and attending special events and birthday celebrations. Daniel loved to be outdoors. During the Summer each year he looked forward to attending the Monroe County Fair
