Obituary of Kathleen Peterman
Please share a memory of Kathleen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kathleen Anne Kocsis was born on December 6, 1961, in Wyandotte. She was the daughter of the late Albert Kocsis and the late Ruth (McDermott) Kocsis. Kathleen attended Monroe High School graduating with the Class of 1980. Over the years, Kathleen attended courses and trade schools to further her education.
For eleven years, Kathleen was employed by the La-Z-Boy Chair Company in customer service. She later took a position with the American Red Cross working in Blood Donor services as a Supervisor for fifteen years.
Kathleen was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed watching all Detroit teams either from the comfort of her living room or going out to the game; rooting on the Pistons, Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings. Her true passion, however, was for that of NASCAR. She traveled the countryside visiting tracks in Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Michigan. Each summer she looked forward to the jaunt to Brooklyn to camp at Michigan International Speedway and to enjoy the festivities there.
In her free time Kathleen loved to watch the Ellen Degeneris Show. She was an excellent cook, and often showcased culinary masterpieces on Facebook for all her friends and family to see. She was blessed to have a network of close life-long friends, and many from high school that she kept contact with. Of all the relationships that Kathleen had none mattered more to her then the one she shared with her two grandsons.
Kathleen Anne Peterman age 54 of Lincoln Park formerly of Monroe passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March, 22, 2016 at her home.
