Obituary of Tyler Forrester

Please share a memory of Tyler to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Tyler Logan Forrester was born on July 24, 2009 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of Victoria Forrester. Even before his birth his family knew that his life would be difficult, but they received Tyler with much anticipation and with open arms. On October 4, 2009 the Forrester's were able to have Tyler dedicated at the Stewart Road Christian Ministries Center. Tyler was blessed by having a large and devoted family. He enjoyed being read to and especially being sung to. Tyler was constantly being cuddled and coddled. He didn't mind; in fact he preferred sleeping next to his mother over sleeping in a lonely crib. If grandpa had had his way, Tyler would have grown to be an avid Red Wings fan as well. Tyler Logan Forrester age 11 weeks while being held in his mothers arms passed away at 3:27am, Monday, October 12, 2009. At the moment of his passing Tyler was received in the arms of his Heavenly Father. Tyler taught those who knew him best about love, patience, and the value life. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother Victoria Forrester of Monroe; his grandparents: Beckie and Dan Forrester of Monroe; great grandparents: Dan and Pansy Heath of Monroe, Laurie and Mike Wilson of Fenton, Michigan, and Bruce and Cathy Forrester of The Villages, Florida; great-great grandparents: Betty Heath of Jackson, Michigan, Carolyn and Judson Forrester Jr. of Farmington Hills, Michigan, and Gertrude Mizener of Fenton, Michigan; uncle: Isaiah Forrester; aunts: Jaime Forrester of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Olivia Forrester, Shelby Forrester, Allison Forrester, and Andrea Forrester all of Monroe; great uncle: Dustin (Sarah) Leach of Monroe; his godparents: Chavis Riggs of Monroe and Hannah Boulton of Monroe. A Celebration of His Life was held on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the Stewart Road Christian Ministries Center. The Rev. Sam Luke pastor of the church officiated. Pastor Luke shared a message of hope, and spoke of the gift that Tyler had been in his family's life. Procession followed to his final rest. Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street, (734) 384-5185 was entrusted with his arrangements. Memorial donations are suggested to the Forrester family.
