John Joseph Brueshaber
August 28, 1925 - July 30, 2015
John Joseph Brueshaber was born in Trilby, Ohio on August 28, 1925. He was one of ten children born from the union of the late John and the Helen (Brunner) Brueshaber. He attended Clay High School in Oregon, Ohio and honorably served in the United States Army Air Force.
John married the love of his life, the former Margaret Hartley on January 26, 1952 in Swanton, Ohio. They were blessed with one beautiful daughter.
John supported his family as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Dundee Cement Company for thirty years. He was a lifelong resident of Erie, Michigan and the founding Pastor of Full Gospel Assembly in 1968, until his passing.
John was a genuinely happy person who would light up a room with his smile. He loved his Lord and Savior with all his heart and his ministry to serve people was his passion. He would do anything for anyone and all who were blessed to know him will miss him dearly.
John grew up on the family farm on Suder Road in Erie. The Brueshaber family raised apples for many years on the site where the Merkle Funeral Home now sits. This upbringing led to a lifelong love of gardening. John loved to live life and nothing held him back. He had an appreciation for the outdoors, enjoyed driving his truck and being around heavy equipment.
John Joseph Brueshaber, age 89 of Erie, passed away at 11:45am on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
