Thomas "Tommy" Paul Treadway
April 12, 1977 -July 22, 2015
Thomas "Tommy" Paul Treadway was born in Monroe, Michigan on April 12, 1977. He was one of five children born from the union of Thomas Everette and Pauline Portillo. Thomas received his General Education Degree in Gainesville, Texas.
Tommy married the love of his life, the former Misty Bijarro on September 28, 2012 in Monroe, and from this union the couple shared in raising five children.
Tommy kept to himself most of the time, but was a fun, loving jokester who loved to tell stores. People were drawn to him, as he had a charisma that was captivating.
Family was most important to Tommy. He cherished time spent with his wife and their children along with his many families get togethers. Tommy enjoyed shooting pool, writing about everyday life and drawing.
Thomas "Tommy" Paul Treadway, age 38, of Monroe passed away at Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. His passing was preceded by his brother: Jerry Wayne Treadway.
To cherish his memory Tommy leaves his beloved wife, Misty Treadway; five children: Tommy James Adkins-Treadway, Chelsey Bijarro, Robert Metcalf, Paige Metcalf and Kayleigh Metcalf; his Mother: Pauline Tyra; his father Thomas (Heather) Everette; two sisters: Pamela Sue (Vinny) Treadway Cimarelli and Samantha K. Treadway; and a brother: Johnny (Samaria) Treadway.
Friends may gather from 10:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of His Life will follow at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 25, 2015 also at Merkle's with Pastor Harold Raines and Pastor Gary Pickrell of Monroe Full Gospel Church officiating.
