Obituary of Candace Dailey

Please share a memory of Candace to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Candace Marie Dailey was born on December 22, 1957 in Pontiac, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Gary Barr and Sandra (Sterling) Barr. She married Craig Snead. Later on August 23, 1991, Candy married Larry Dailey Jr. Together they would share more than 18 years of marriage. Candy took her occupation as a homemaker very seriously. She found enjoyment in her responsibility of raising a family, and her family stated she was very good at it. Candy had a servant's heart, and was the type of person who would do anything for anybody without question. This extended to her children whom she loved unconditionally as well. Candy was best described by her children as being a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was an excellent cook - when she wasn't burning things. She had a great sense of humor, and knowing that laughter was the best medicine, Candy, would enjoy making others laugh. She enjoyed shopping; especially garage saleing, and collecting antiques. Candace Marie Dailey age 51, passed away unexpectedly at her Belleville home on Friday, October 9, 2009. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband: Larry Dailey Jr. of Belleville; her mother: Sandra Cash of Berksville, Kentucky; four children: Christal Snead of Salt Lake City, Utah, Craig (Jennifer) Snead of Monroe, Michigan; Sara Dailey of Belleville, Michigan, and Larry Dailey III of Belleville, Michigan; three sisters: Theresa MacDonald of Fowlerville, Michigan, Jamie Barr of Livonia, Michigan and Jennifer Barr of Livonia, Michigan; a brother: Gary Barr Jr. of Farmington, Michigan; seven wonderful grandchildren: Samantha Snead, Cyle Snead, Hailey Harper, Chloe Snead, Morgan Snead, Samantha Snead, and Cody Snead. In addition to her father Gary in 2009 her passing was preceded by her stepfather: Eugene Cash. Cremation has taken place through Southern Michigan Services in Livonia, Michigan. Friends may gather from 3:00pm until a Celebration of Her Life at 4:00pm on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185.
