Obituary of Elizabeth Turner
Please share a memory of Elizabeth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Elizabeth Nagy was born on November 12, 1929 in Monroe, Michigan. She was born from the union of the late John Nagy and the late Aileen (Bozick) Nagy. Elizabeth attended Monroe Schools.
Elizabeth was a simple woman, but she was independent and strong-willed just the same. She was the proud mother to ten beautiful children. With all those mouths to feed, Elizabeth knew she would need to provide for them outside the home and did so through employment at Midway Products for many years working as a laborer. She finally retired in the 1980's. Even after a tough days work, Elizabeth cheerfully came home and looked after the needs of her family and completed household chores.
Although, free time could often be scarce, Elizabeth enjoyed spending hers with the serenity of working in the garden, doing yardwork, and planting flowers. She also loved to be in the kitchen cooking and canning. Elizabeth could always be counted on to entertain and prepare dishes for family gatherings. Being blessed with good health for many years she was active and eager to do things on her own well into her eighty's.
