Obituary of Maureen Wagner

Maureen Annette Tucker was born in Taylor, Michigan on April 12, 1962. She was one of five children born from the union of the late C.T. and the late Shirley Mauren (Bodrie) Tucker. Maureen attended Truman High School in Taylor Maureen was a feisty and opinionated woman. She was a great friend and mother with a huge heart. Maureen valued the time she spent with her family and friends, though spending time with her daughter "Lexie" was held dearest. Maureen lived her life for her daughter and often spoiled her. She had a profound love for jazz and country music, and loved dancing. Maureen spent much of her down time playing jig-saw puzzles and reading books with her canine companions by her side, Angel and Tigger. Maureen received her spiritual guidance through Crosswalk Community Church in Monroe for the last few years. Maureen "Moe" Annette Wagner, age 53, of Erie passed away at 10:29am on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at her home with her friends and family by her side. Her passing was preceded by her parents. To cherish Maureen's memory, she leaves her daughter: Alexis "Lexi" Wagner of Erie; four siblings: Erin ( Matt) Foyteck of Clarkston, Tim Tucker of Romulus, Tara Core of Brownstown, and Chris Tucker of California; beloved father in law: Warren Wagner; and her close friends: Phillip Healey of Luna Pier, Debbie Smith of Luna Pier, Lisa Kring of Tennessee, Tim, Carrie , Kellie, and Scott Cartwright. Friends may gather on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe St, Monroe (734)384-5185. A Celebration of her life will follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Dale Hayford of Crosswalk Community Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the wishes of the family or to the American Cancer Society.
