Dannette F. Campbell was born on January 22, 1966, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the late Charles Levy and the Late Earlean (Russell) Brown. As a child, the family relocated to Adrian, Michigan, along with her siblings; Michel ‘La, Ida, Shawn and Ryan where they were raised by their mother and stepfather; Square (Lloyd) Brown.

Dannette attended Adrian Public Schools, graduating in 1985 from Adrian High School. After graduating, she attended Adrian Beauty Academy where she earned her Cosmetology license in 1987.  Her cosmetology career spanned over thirty-seven years, allowing her to work in various salons.

Dannette was a Godly woman who sought God in everything she did. She was a strong, brave, kind, faith filled woman. She was a gift giver and always gave from her heart. She loved spoiling her family with special gifts, especially her grandchildren! She loved her family and often displayed this love by preparing large family meals and hosting family gatherings filled with lots of love and laughter.

Fascinated by the magic of cooking, Dannette had a niche for transforming basic ingredients into mouthwatering dishes that not only fed the body but also warmed the soul too. She loved cooking, catering and hosting her family and friends. Her favorite dishes included spaghetti, chicken alfredo and pulled pork nachos.

Dannette was a very hard worker with an extraordinary work ethic, many times working two jobs at once. She was always willing to pick up extra shifts to help out her colleagues. She took pride in her work and found fulfillment in being a committed reliable employee. Her love for cooking led her to a long career in the dietary field working twenty-five years for Seacrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility; Fifteen years at Monroe High School for Sodexo Food Service and Catering; she also worked for the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) and ProMedica Hospital. Despite her hectic work schedule, Dannette always found time for family. She was deeply devoted to her loved ones and considered family the cornerstone of her life.

On July 21, 2024, Dannette answered the call of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to come home after a short stay at Hospice of Northwest Ebeid Center in Sylvania, Ohio.
