Obituary of Anthony Dale Breitner

Please share a memory of Anthony to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Anthony Dale Breitner was born on July 4, 1968, in Toledo, Ohio. He was one of three children born from the union of Robert and Barbara (Morse) Breitner. Anthony’s formative years were spent in the Deerfield school system and in 1986, he graduated from Deerfield High School.

He began his journey into the working world at a young age and was gainfully employed by the Wadsworth Milk Transport company as a milk hauler when he was just eighteen years old.   With unwavering dedication, he committed himself to his job and to the same employer for the next thirty-two years.

Known for his love of all sports, Anthony was an ardent supporter of his favorite Detroit Lions Football team as well as the University of Michigan football team. His enthusiasm for these two teams knew no bounds, and he would cheer with unwavering passion even during his beloved team’s most challenging seasons.

While a private person, Anthony cherished his time with family and close friends. Never one to miss an opportunity to connect with loved ones, he often gathered everyone together for memorable barbecues. Anthony took great pride in being the grill master during these treasured events, and his cheeseburgers, often described as "out of this world”, were legendary.  Though some may have questioned his choice, Anthony liked grilling pork steaks over traditional New York or ribeye steaks. He believed that the flavor and thickness of pork steaks were superior, showcasing his unique taste and attention to detail. He also relished getting together with family and close friends to play a friendly card game or two of Euchre. The camaraderie shared during those times brought him immense joy.
