Obituary of Tammy Novak

Tammy Lea Novak (Farris), age 47, passed away peacefully into the waiting arms of her Heavenly father on Friday, December 12, 2014 at her home.
Born January 22, 1967 in Monroe MI, to Duane Martin Farris and Eileen Ruby Farris (Meyers). They sadly preceded her in death. She worked for Ford Motor Company Woodhaven stamping plant and retired from there 2006.
Tammy married Marvin Novak on March 14, 1997. They had three children Courtney (Aaron) Page. Sabrina Lemanski (Tyler Roberts), and Dallas Andrew Lloyd Novak. She was the grandmother of one Aiden Micheal James Page. She loved her grandson and was the very BEST "MIM" she could be to him.
Tammy loved to play cards with her family and friends and hosted card games often at her house. She also loved camping and bowling and watching the Detroit Tigers. She was a huge Nascar fan and attended the night race in Bristol Tennessee every year. She spent time at home shopping on JTV, QVC and loved attending auctions on the weekend.
Tammy's family was the most important part of her life. She was very proud of her children and grandchild and truly enjoyed spending quality time with them. In addition to her three children she loved her three Shih Tzu's and will be greatly missed by Skinny who never left her side.
In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by her dog Sissy Sue Novak, great grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Tammy was survived by her loving husband, three children, and grandson. Five brothers and sisters Duane Martin (Michelle) Farris II, Kimberly Gray, Robert Marcoff, Floyd (Debbie) Lyons and Vicky (Courtney) Flynn. Twelve nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews. She also leaves a many co-workers and a host of friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 2:00pm - 8:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service South, 14567 S. Dixie Hwy. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 11:00am with Pastor Roy Southerland of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church officiating. She will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery.
