Obituary of Christy Laura Bundy
Christy Eads was born on October 10, 1975, in Monroe, Michigan. She was one of three children born from the union of Paul and Elizabeth (Farner) Eads. Christy attended Monroe Public Schools graduating with the class of 1993 from Monroe High School. She married the love of her life, Jason “Jay” Bundy on January 21, 2000.
Christy had an eclectic taste in music ranging from artists as varied as Post Malone to New Kids on the Block to Barry Manilow. She loved live performances and was an avid supporter of “underground” bands and small independent label artists. However, she was also excited for the opportunity to witness headliner bands in person as well. She was truly in disbelief when her husband accompanied her to the Post Malone concert as this was not his typical genre of music.
In her free time, Christy loved to paint anything from her beloved Death Notes to her favorite flower, sunflowers. On occasion she could be seen tuning into watching any true crime documentaries and even drag queen shows.
Christy never met a stranger, if you knew her, you loved her. In fact, she loved her friends so much she called them all family. With her humor, wittiness, and intelligence she had no problem carrying a conversation or connecting with someone else. In fact, it was stated that Christy might possibly have 100,000 best friends.
