Grandpa was always close to my heart even know I saw him very little. He never in my 50 Years missed my Birthday. He always sent me a Birthday check for the same amount as long as i can remember. I guess he forgot about inflation. Just kidding Grandpa. I wish I could have spent more time with you over my life. I'm sure I could have learned so much from you. However what time I did spend with you and Grandma will always be cherished by me forever .
Love you always
Shawn

Ben was a joy to be around, and I loved him like a father. He was never without a twinkle in his eyes. The world will be a poorer place without him here to share a dive bar Tuesday or fun night together. Take your wings my friend.

Q: How did you meet Benjamin?
A: I met Ben at the nursing home where his wife Nancy resided for many years. I was his wife’s day shift nurse. He was such a nice, kind, caring man. He would come in EVERY single day unless of course he was sick or traveling. Even then, he made sure someone came to be with his wife. I will always remember his witty humor and thoughtful gestures especially during the holidays when he would bring the staff all kinds of goodies. Prayers for his family during this difficult time. RIP my dear pal Ben
