Nicholas was known for his strong faith and his love for Jesus Christ. He was never afraid of teaching others about how valuable a relationship with Christ was. He prayed often on his own, and was comfortable leading others in prayer. Nicholas was a wonderful father showing his love for his pride and joy, his son: Nathan in many ways. None was more important than sharing his faith and teaching Nathan how to pray.
Nicholas was an avid sports fan with a particular love for football and especially the Detroit Lions. He always enjoyed watching the games and brother, Mark was a favorite companion. Nicholas had a very loving and caring heart. He always looked out for those around him and he was a wonderful son and a great friend. Nicholas was generous with all that he had even willing to give the shirt off his back for someone that needed it more than himself. Nicholas valued the time he spent hanging out with his best buddies: Nick Orth, Pat Miller, Brandon McCorry and Tony Smalley.
