Obituary of Richard Raymond Myden

Richard Raymond Myden was born on March 22, 1948 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. He was the only son born from the union of the late John Sr. and the late Mary Rita (Sidelko) Myden. Richard graduated from High School in Detroit with the class of 1966. Richard supported himself by inspecting engine blocks at Trenton Engine with the Local 372 for over 38 years, finally taking retirement in 1996. Richard was a very giving man. He knew so many people and shared his big smile with them all. Richard enjoyed working in his yard and making it look beautiful. He always up to travel anywhere and go on vacation to various places around the country. Richard had a strong passion for classic muscle cars; his 1972 charger being his favorite. Richard Raymond Myden, age 68 of Monroe passed away unexpectedly at 6:08pm at home on Saturday, August 28, 2016. To cherish his memory, Ricky leaves his longtime friend and life companion: Diana Scharf of Monroe; and many friends and family members. Friends may gather on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 12:00noon until 2:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, South Monroe 14567 South Dixie Highway Monroe 48161 (734)241-7070. A funeral service will follow at 2:00pm, also at Merkle Funeral Service, South Monroe. Procession will follow to St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Newport for burial.
