Jennifer Kay Johnson was born May 28, 1968, in Monroe, Michigan. On February 23, 2013, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jennifer married the love of her life, Mr. Eugene Lovell and together the couple had a blended family with three sons: Dane, Joshua and Jake.

While attending high school Jennifer was very active is sports and loved participating in varsity softball and volleyball and was one who could run very fast because of her long legs, but her love since the age of five was always baton twirling and she traveled all around to destinations like Florida, Canada, and Las Vegas for twirling.  She was a member of the Jefferson Cadets, a private baton twirling corp that competed for several years in the National Baton Twirling Competition held annually at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. She also taught baton twirling, was a flag corp advisor at Airport High School and was the twirling and majorette at Jefferson. Jennifer received her culinary degree from Monroe Community College and was an amazing cook who possessed the ability to prepare the perfect steak. She loved to spend time on Lake Erie whether she was enjoying the day on the boat or jumping the waves on her jet ski or fishing. She loved fishing for walleye and perch, mainly, but was happy to catch whatever was biting that day. She worked at the Monroe Country Club and had a deep love for the game of golf and would often hit the links every Monday with her mother on the ladies’ league at Big Al’s golf course. In 1985 Jennifer competed in the Miss Monroe Beauty Pageant. When Jennifer wasn’t golfing, fishing, or spending time with Eugene on the water the couple would buy and sell baseball cards.
