Please share a memory of Tyler to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Tyler John Drouillard was born on May 9, 1989, in Toledo, Ohio.  He was the youngest of three children, the son of David and Renee (Cole) Drouillard. Tyler adored his older sister Tia and relished being the baby of the family. He graduated from Orchard Center High School with the Class of 2007.

An avid sports fan, Tyler cheered especially loud for his favorite football team since childhood, the Dallas Cowboys. As a child he idolized their quarterback, Troy Aikman and defensive back, Deion Sanders. As a child he attended the Detroit Lions summer training camp. Ty was also a University of Michigan fan and enjoyed attending Detroit Tigers and Pistons games. He was extremely knowledgeable of sports statistics. Knowing the complete history of the iconic, Nike Air Jordan shoes, and Ty had a personal collection.  When the film “Air” was released, Tyler was first in line to see it at the local theatre. Always proud of his appearance, he took great care of his prized kicks and perfectly coordinated his outfit to match from head to toe.

Tyler loved to cook, often using Frank’s Red-Hot sauce in dishes whenever he could. Ty loved the condiment so much; he even had a Red-Hot tattoo. A loving uncle, he never considered babysitting a chore. Tyler cherished the time he spent playing video games and watching movies with his nephew Jordan. Ty was quite free when spending time with his friends. He deeply valued these relationships, many of which he had cultivated since kindergarten.

A handsome guy, Tyler took great pride in his appearance.  He inherited a beautiful smile from his father and wasn’t afraid to flash it to anyone he crossed paths with. Most recently, Tyler truly enjoyed his time working in the auto manufacturing industry.
