Obituary of Sharon Kelly

Sharon J. Kelly, age 69, of Dundee, passed away at Monroe Promedica Regional Hospital on Monday, January 25, 2016. Sharon was born in Monroe, Michigan April 12, 1946 the daughter of John and Velma (Boggs) Wilkinson. She was a graduate of Dundee High School in 1964. She moved to Dundee as a young girl. After graduating from high school she married and lived on an Army base for a few years. She had worked at Alma Plastics in Milan, Pilot Plastics Co. in Dexter, Independent Dairy and retired from NSK in Ann Arbor. When she was younger she loved dancing. She also loved watching car racing at the Oakshade Circle Track. She was always a self sufficient person and was very generous and forgiving. She also spoke her mind and you knew where you stood with her. She would listen to people, give her opinion but would do it with a sense of humor. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Heather and Wayne Renner of Dundee; brothers Lester Wilkinson of Manchester, Michigan and Bert (Sandy) Wilkinson of Ann Arbor. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Larry Wilkinson and Thurlo Wilkinson. Private services will be held. Cremation will take place at Tri-County Crematory in Ypsilanti.
