My mother, Joyce Vergowven and I would like to express how very sorry that Pastor B is not with us any longer, but we are rejoicing that he has been sent Home to be with our Father. I remember his infectious smile and his laugh. I was first saved under him and I learned the true meaning of Christ's love. Thank You Pastor B for sharing His love to everyone you met and mentored.
Steve and Carol, I am very sorry and praying that you all are finding solace in God's arms. Give my love to your mom as well.

What can I say Dad? You have fought a good fight, finished the course and kept the faith. You are now with Jesus. Life has been so very good with you as my father, however, I know from your teachings of God's Word that Eternal LIfe is better; and I am so happy for you. It's all true! You have been there for me in this life when no one else was. You have picked me up when I have fallen or "dropped the ball" or even "swung and missed"; forgiven me when I have errored; listened, and connected in every season. You taught me all I know through words and unselfish actions. What an incredible demonstration of obedience and sacrifice in, "loving God with all you heart, mind, sould and strength, and loving your neighbor as yourself." You have lived your life for Jesus in such a way that impacts my life. It is no wonder why I daily want to follow your example and be more like my dad. Thanks for the choices you have made, the unconditional love you have shown, and for always being there for me. I can't wait to see you again. Until then, let's stand tall in the batter's box, and drive the next pitch clear over the centerfield fence.
Your loving son now and forever,
Steve
